Ranata, the Life Coach

So, you're a life coach now? You might wonder what made me decide to become one, so let me explain.

I've been a hairdresser for over 20 years, and I know this profession has taken a toll on my mind and body. It's not a career I can easily retire from without a backup plan. I became a yoga instructor and a therapeutic horticulturalist practitioner to address this. However, I still felt that something was missing from my journey.

I considered going back to school to become a therapist, but when I looked at how long it would take to become the type of therapist I wanted to be, I realized that might not be the best option for me. After some reflection and research, I discovered life coaching. Once I understood the difference between life coaching and therapy, I knew that life coaching was the right path for me. It aligned perfectly with my existing qualifications and what I feel is my purpose.

While reflecting on my life, I remembered how lost and confused I was when my son moved out. As a young mother, even though I had a relatively good experience during my teenage years, I didn't know who I was outside of being a mother. After 18 years of focusing primarily on that role, I suddenly found myself questioning my identity when he left home. I realized that having a life coach would have been invaluable to me during that time, helping me navigate my next steps.

When my daughter moved out, I experienced similar feelings of confusion and sadness, feeling depleted and not knowing which direction to take. As time passed, I decided to dive deeper into yoga education to learn more about it. I received my teacher certification, and in the process, I also developed a keen interest in plants and how they can heal, which I wanted to incorporate into my yoga practice.

Now, I’m dedicated to helping others through life coaching, drawing on my experiences and the lessons I've learned.

Now that you know a bit about my background and what inspired me to become a life coach, I want to share my genuine interest in helping others discover their true purpose and succeed in their endeavors. My goal as a life coach is to create a safe environment where we can unlock your fullest potential, which I consider your unique "superpowers" that may still be unknown to you. I am currently looking for volunteer clients, so if this resonates with you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to work together on your journey of discovery.
